For the record: I'm a frequent updater on my xanga.
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists." "Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving a God who would allow all of these things." The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist." "How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!" "No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist, because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside." "Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is; people do not come to me." "Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

Yesterday at Hollister, a girl that was waiting for a changing room along with me had the white purse that I want so badly that I posted in my most previous entry. So we started talking and I was saying how I've never seen anyone in Michigan have one and she was saying how she was from Long Island, NY and had to special order it. Then as I was exitting the mall I saw an older woman carrying a black one. That was really weird, two in one place the same day.
Btw, the game was really good (obviously, if it went into triple overtime). Too bad we didn't win in the end.

It is extremely cold outside. I had to dig my driveway a little bit and brush off the vehicle to make it out of the driveway. Took a half hour, yuck. Work was okay but obviously very slow so it was pretty much just standing around. I got to go home early and be warm. No way I would go outside for some leisurly activity like other people in my family are doing.
Right now my dad is still sitting on his plane on his way to Miami, and then to Jamaica for the week. He's had a lot of delays and layovers. I want him to bring me back something cute and Jamaica-y, hopefully he can manage the cute part. I get to drive his car while he's gone but only if it isn't excessively icy and snowy out. It just snowed more than half of a foot, so today is out for driving his car.
I really want to go shopping. This is what I want since I'll probably forget when I have the money for it in a week: new cell phone, wallet from younkers, Hollister jeans or flipflops (I can't afford both :P), and some tanning units because I ran out awhile ago.

Today my mom and I completely forgot to wish Leah a happy birthday this morning. We felt very horrible, I kept thinking about it in school about how she was probably excited picking out exactly what she wanted to wear to school on her day and she wasn't told happy birthday once until she got to school.
So i got out during lunch and went to get balloons and flowers and dropped them off at her school since i was going to talk to her principal anyways.

Happy New Year!
Even though at the current moment I'm not very happy/excited, I had a very good New Year's. I had to work though on New Year's Eve from 4-10:30 and it was CrRazZy. I made good $$ in tips though, so that was cool. Andrew and I headed over to Heather Tews' party and arrived at 11:00. We missed seeing Joey & Tara (they already came and went), but got to be with Andrew, Krissy, Audrey, Heather (duh!), Danny, Chris, Megan, Mark (M's bf), Mia, and Rachel when the ball dropped. We watched Dodgeball and Napoleon Dynamite (but fell asleep). Oh yeah, and Tews and I kicked Krissy & Andrew's butt in euchre.
Yesterday was Leah and Em's birthday party. That was good, bought Leah two shirts from Abercrombie kids. Then later the whole family minus some watched Napoleon Dynamite, so that was the first official time that I got to see the whole movie. T'was alright, funny, everyone already knows.
Going to see Meet the Fockers in a couple hours.
